Dr Hugh Scotton was raised in Grafton on the NSW Far North Coast. He studied Medicine at the University of Sydney graduating in 1965. Dr Lees completed his training in Adelaide before working as a staff specialist at the Adelaide Children's Hospital. Later Dr Lees worked in the USA at the University of Virginia as an assistant professor and the Director of Ultrasound. Wolfgang Gowin studied medicine at the University of Duesseldorf and specialised in radiology (diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology) through the Free University of Berlin in the University Hospital Benjamin Franklin in Germany. He has worked for the radiological industry in the USA, in private practice and in a radiology-based research centre in Germany. Before joining Hunter Imaging Group in 2005 he was the deputy director of the Center of Muscle and Bone Research at the Free University of Berlin.
