Cardio Vascular Centre

The Cardio Vascular Centre is Hunter Imaging Group’s specialised Cardiovascular Imaging Services. The Cardio Vascular Centre is designed to provide highly specialised Cardio Vascular Ultrasound services to Newcastle and the Hunter.

The Cardio Vascular Centre prides itself on the quality and accuracy of its vascular ultrasound diagnosis and service to its referring Doctors. All of the Cardio Vascular Centre sonographers have the Diploma of Medical Ultrasound which is an internationally and nationally recognised ultrasound qualification. Many of the sonographers have been involved with the ASUM exam process as examiners and also invited speakers to vascular ultrasound conferences. The Cardio Vascular Centre sonographers meet weekly to audit their ultrasound results, present case studies and review publications resulting in a vascular ultrasound service abreast of all new technologies and procedures.
