Dr Amanda Woodward studied Medicine at Monash University in Victoria. After graduating Dr Woodward trained as a Radiologist at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Los Angles Children’s Hospital in the USA and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Woodward has been working with Hunter Imaging Group since 1991.

More recently she spent 2012 updating MRI skills, particularly in the areas of neurologic and abdominal-pelvic MRI, while working at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. She has developed a special interest in dynamic MRI imaging, including pelvic floor assessment and bowel motility studies.

Dr. Kirk Brown hails from Rhode Island in the Northeast US where he completed his undergraduate science degree with honours. He then studied medicine at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and Brown University in Rhode Island and went on to train in Diagnostic Radiology at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, part of the Yale hospital network in New Haven Connecticut.  He has lived and worked in Australia since 2000, first at Nepean Hospital in Penrith NSW . Following this, he spent several years in US teleradiology, based in Sydney, providing emergency services to hundreds of large and small hospitals across the US. In 2011 he completed an MRI fellowship at John Hunter Hospital.

Dr Chris Allen is from Newcastle and grew up and went to school in Merewether. After completing a science degree in Sydney, Dr Allen moved to Brisbane to study medicine. After working, predominately in emergency medicine both in Brisbane and London Dr Allen started his radiology training in Brisbane in 2005. Dr Allen moved back to Newcastle with his young family in 2007 where he finished his training and completed a fellowship in MRI in 2010. Dr Allen then worked as a staff specialist at the John Hunter Hospital and has been working with Hunter Imaging Group since the beginning of 2014.

Dr Aho, originally from Finland, studied medicine at Sydney University graduating in 1967. After completing his internship in Sydney Hospital, Dr Aho went onto radiology at Concord General Hospital. In 1975 Dr Aho graduated to become Staff Radiologist.

In 1977 Dr Aho became a founding partner in NSW Xray which grew to have 10 Radiologists and 15 Western Sydney Xray practices.

Dr Aho has been a VMO in Blacktown Hospital Sydney for 31 years and for lesser periods a VMO in Parramatta Hospital, Western Suburbs Hospital and Bankstown Hospital. From 2004 to 2009 Dr Aho served as a Staff Radiologists in Blacktown Hospital and in 2009 he joined Hunter Imaging Group.
